A Day in the Life — A New Season of Gardening

Greetings! Over the past couple of weeks, my husband and I have been hard at work preparing our garden for the year ahead. After a rather unusual chilly winter season here in sunny Florida, some of our plants did not make it, but many of them did — so much to be thankful for 🙂 Here is a mini tour of our patio garden; we have a wide variety of foods, none of which are planted in the ground but are grown in containers of different sizes, shapes, and depths. Yes, you can grow a thriving garden out of containers, it just takes a little practice. Though our patio is quite large, it was sometimes a challenge to get containers with enough space and depth for certain foods to grow. And getting our babies the right amount of sunlight and water was something we needed to plan as well.
